Disaster
We have now sent
£1,000 to the Rotary Club of Galle and £3,000 to the Rotary
Club of Colombo Regency in Sri Lanka. We have also sent £500 to
Tamil Nada State R.I District 3230 in India. We know that the
money has been received and is being used immediately where it is
most required.
Since then we have been delighted to receive a further £1,750
from collections made at the Southampton Arms, West End,
Southampton. This money will be spent to provide aqua boxes and
shelter boxes.
A further £1,100 has just
been received from The Vine School in Curdridge. This money and other
funds will be used to provide specific needs such as rebuilding schools
and villages in Sri Lanka.
A "Beer Fest" put on by Hamble Valley Rotary
Club had just raised a further £1,500 bring the total amount
raised to almost £10,000.

A further £750 has recently been presented to Penny Gordon in aid of
the Regalla Trust
